Home Rules

 

  1. Respect all the rules.
  2. The Commander's word is Law.  His word is final.
  3. Anonymous names, ~o~'s and no names (dots) will not be recognised.  They will be booted with one warning only.
  4. This is an Adult Gorean Roleplay room based on the books of John Normal.  If you wish to roleplay and have fun in a Gorean tradition then you are welcome to visit, perhaps join.
  5. If you are new to Gor and you wish to observe and learn, please ask to be allowed to do so by a Free Member of the home.  The ~o~ is not recognised here, this will not protect you.  If given permission to observe, then ask questions and be respectful.  Any other interaction beyond this and you will become subject to the rules of Gor.
  6. Should it be learned you know of Gor and its ways already, then you will be collared.
  7. No PM's to Personally or Outpost Owned slaves without Owners permission first.
  8. Messengers MUST wear their Gorean names and a yellow sash.  Messages will be scripted and given to the intended recipient if need be.
  9. Rask can be fair and just, but harsh and cruel when lied to or learns of gamers in His home.  If you are caught dualling you will be fed to the sleen, the Outpost High Tharlarion or killed.
  10. Collared slaves, from non-allied Homes, traveling without escort will be caged and their Homes notified.  Uncollared slaves will be given a collar, without question since slaves did NOT travel alone. 
  11. Those collared slaves that are caged, will be caged for a period of 10 days at a cost of 1 silver to release them.  After that time, they will be collared to Treveian Outpost.
  12. Slaves will be stripped, searched and their hair combed thoroughly before being caged.  NO picked locks will be accepted.
  13. The Outpost does allow Panthers through the Gates, asl long as they enter in peace.
  14. Assassins will not be admitted entry by the Guards and will be killed at the Gates as the Outpost is run somewhat as a Camp.  It is well hidden in the forest, many pasangs away from Mighty Ar and Ko-ro-ba.  Only those who are given safe passage to the Outpost (such as as Merchants, Allied Panthers and captured slaves) know of its location.  As with Treve, those brought to the Outpost were hooded and blindfolded, or both.  The only ones knowing the location of the Outpost, as with the city itself, are those of Treve and the Treveian Outpost.  Any kills as a result of a hunt will be deemed invalid.
  15. We are NOT accepting raids at this point in time.  Once we have grown and have more Free Members, then it will be given consideration again.
  16. Gor is a Man's world, not a Freewoman or a slaves.

 

Free Rules

 

  1. Every Free, meaning every Master and every Mistress, are required to know exactly the same things that the slaves know.  If You wish to play the role of a Free Person then there is no excuse for not knowing the same information that the slaves have to learn.  It is the responsibility of a Free to know just what You are expecting out of Your slaves.

  2. All Free Women of Treveian OutPost will, at all times, conduct and present themselves in a chaste Gorean manner befitting the station of a FW.  If You cannot behave as a Free Woman then You will be subjected to collaring.

  3. Treveian Outpost is a force collaring zone, but any and all slaves that are collared inside the Home will be placed into Home collars, {TO}.  These slaves will not go directly into a personal collar until they have been trained or until You have spoken with the Commander about owning them.  Any slave collared outside the Home is subject to the collar of Your choice, either Your own personall collar or a Home collar.

  4. Members of Treveian Outpost will not interact with Anonymous, no names, or dot names.  They will be given one warning to choose a proper roleplay name.  If they are new to Gor and wanting to learn it is quite acceptable for them to ask questions, but at no time should the interaction be allowed to disrupt the roleplay in the Home.  Any "anon" names that refuse to take a name, will be ignored from that point forward.  Do not further post, try to kill, cage or cause any other involvement with the offending character.  If a mod is about, they will simply be booted after the first warning.

  5. Free Women and Traveling.  This is Your warning.  You should be sure to check if there are any Homes that are considered "safe travel zones" before You decide to go traveling.  If you travel to a non-safe Home and are caged there for it, just realize that the Free Men of the OutPost might not come bail you out.  If You are traveling to a safe Home then You are required to have an escort, either an actual FM of the Home or an NPC.

  6. Do not think that just because You are a Free, that You can abuse Your position.  Do not pressure a slave for real time information or interactions.  If it is found out that You are making a slave uncomfortable, You will have to answer to the Commander and possibly face a ban from the Home.

  7. All members must sign up to the message boards, including the Free. 

  8. It is recommended that everyone who enters the Outpost read back about 20 posts, just to know where eveyone else is and what is happening inside the Home.

  9. All members of the Home will request permission for any slaves of the Outpost to travel with them.  There is a section in the slave's board to leave the request if You can't catch up with the Commander personally.

  10. Slaves are a very vital part of the roleplay in Gor.  Remember they are giving of themselves in service to the Free.  So use them, work them, train them and punish if it is needed, but don't let a slave work hard to please You and You fail to notice in any way.  If you don't want to be bothered by a slave, then please don't ask them to serve and just ignore them.

  11. Most of all, just be respectful to Your fellow Home members and have fun!  Be creative with Your roleplay, work Your caste or even play a game.  Just enjoy, that is what roleplay is all about.

 

Slave Rules

 

  1. It is the responsibility of every slave to know the rules set forth by the Treveian OutPost.  Each home on Gor is different and each has its own rules, but the OutPost is your home now and its rules are the only ones you will follow.

  2. As a slave that simply means that you are property.  You have no rights or any possessions other than what the Free allow you to have.  Even your name can be changed at the whim of your Owner.  Anything that you might be gifted is because the Free have found you pleasing and that you have earned the privilege of the gift.  Everything can be taken from you as easily as it was given.

  3. When or if you are ever given a gift from a Master or Mistress that does not personally own you, you may accept it and then receive permission from your Owner to be allowed to keep it.  Slaves many not wear any beads, eat any candies or anything of the such until the slaves owner has given permission.

  4. The two primary duties of a slave are: exquisite beauty and absolute obedience.   

  5. Every slave is required to sign up to the message board.  Slaves should check daily for lessons from the head trainer and news from the Free, and this is where you will post those assignments, any punishments, roleplays and chores (including the date and time stamp). 

  6. There is never a reason a slave will argue with any Free.  Even if you know that they are not right, as far as slaves are concerned the Free are never wrong.  Slaves have the last word and it will always be "Yes Master" or "Yes Mistress".  If there is a problem or you have a concern, then be respectful to the Free, script the event in question and report it to the head trainer.  From there it will be discretely discussed with the Commander if need be and dealt with swiftly.  To simply and outright argue with a Free will only get slaves in trouble and earning punishment.

  7. It is recommended that everyone (including slaves) read back about 20 posts, just to know where everyone else is and what is happening inside the Home. 

  8. Slaves do not have to beg for entry here at the Outpost, but you do have to ask permission in order to leave.  Ask first from a ranking Free Member then from the first girl if no other Free are around.  The only instances that you should just leave is if there is urgent real time, if that is the case then say you have RTI and go.  Only do so though if it is really a RTI, because if it is learned that you are using the excuse of RTI just to escape a Free or a roleplay, then you will be punished.

  9. There will be no general greetings to everyone of the OutPost in one posting when you enter or leave.  A mass greeting is only allowed if you are instructed by a Free Member to do so.  Slaves will greet each Free individually and do so in the proper order, which is: 

    Personal Owner (if you have one)
    Commander
    Treveian OutPost Free Men
    Treveian OutPost Free Women
    Visiting Free Men
    Visiting Free Women
    first girl 
    Treveian OutPost slaves
    Visiting slaves

  10. Slaves will not greet Free by their Name or their Rank.  All Free Men are greeted as Master and Free Women greeted as Mistress.  If someone comes in with a name that is not gender specific, then you would greet that person as Master until corrected otherwise.  If it is not a Master, then you will beg mercy of the Mistress and make a note for future reference.

  11. Once you have greeted and if your Owner (if you have one) is not within the OutPost, then you are to offer service.  The same as greeting, you do not offer serve in one general post and you offer in the same proper order.  Each and every free deserves the respect of individual offers of your service and time.

  12. If you are in the middle of some service to a Free person, then your full attention should be upon that Master or Mistress.  Slaves are not allowed to greet or speak with anyone else that comes in without the Free's permission that you are tending to.  You should beg such permission or wait until you are released before interacting with anyone else.  The same holds true if you are in the middle of training with the head trainer and you will NOT be in PM's with anyone while you are serving a Free, unless you are simply asking another slave for help.

  13. Slaves will not pick and choose who they wish to serve.  Slaves are not allowed to show favoritism and you will follow the greeting/serving order as per rule 8.  If you are not familiar with the proper, respectful manner in which to offer service then please check under the "slave training" pages for more information.  

  14. Slaves will always kneel in the presence of a Free person.  

  15. Slaves never look a Free person in the eye.  Keeping your eyes lowered shows that you know your place and the only reason you would look a Master or Mistress in the eye is if you are given permission or allowed to.

  16. A slave shall never strike out at a Master or Mistress.  The punishment will be swift and very strict for such.

  17. Concerning serving, dances and chores:  All of these should come from a slave's heart and imagination.  It is not acceptable to copy/steal any other slave's serves/chores/dances.  Every slave is different.  This is what makes them unique, it gives them personality and character that the Free can appreciate that particular slave for.

  18. Slaves show the fire that is in their belly and in their heart when they serve, whether is just by speaking with a Free, performing chores or serving food/drink, or even by dancing.  That is why very short and one line postings will only be allowed from new slaves just learning gor.  As a slave grows and blossoms in their training, then it is expected the description and detail to improve to reflect the higher position of a slave's silk level.

  19. Slaves are not allowed to touch weapons or any other sharp instrument that could be thought for a weapon to cause harm to a slave.  A slave will gain explicit permission from a Master or Mistress from doing so.  In the kitchen, you are allowed to use the cutting shell or the knives that are always checked daily and chained to the counter.  Slaves are also allowed to remove arrows/knives/quivas from a wound, once you've asked permission to do so and then wrap it in a cloth so you don't really touch it and lay it beside the injuried Free or where another Free can retrieve it.

  20. Slaves are not allowed to touch weapons without permission, the same is true for touching any sort of coinage with your hands or touching the Free.  All coin given to a slave, from either serving or a Free renting room in the OutPost, should be carried in the small pouch that is attached to the slave's collar.  It is then brought forward for the slave's Owner to retrieve or the Commander.  Slaves will note the payment of food/drink/rooms/tips onto the message board in the appropriate place.

  21. No slave will PM any Master or Mistress without first gaining permission.  Any visiting Free must have the permission of the Commander or a Member of the Outpost to PM the slaves of this home.

  22. Slaves always beg for mercy from a Master or Mistress when mistakes are made, in hopes of being granted forgiveness and maybe avoiding some punishment

  23. Slaves do not concern themselves with the business of the Free, this includes any talk of the slave's collar.  Slaves will never discuss with a Free their wants to be bought or collared to that Free from the Owner they belong to at the time.  It simply is none of your concern as a slave is just property.

  24. All slaves are to the in the OutPost whenever r/t allows and especially for any shcheduled events going on in the home.  A slaves attention should be focused on the home when you are present.

  25. Slaves are not allowed to travel to any other home without permission and then it must be with a proper escort, a Free Man of the OutPost.  If you are found traveling or even caged in another home, then the slave will face the consequences.

  26. If there is ever trouble or a raid within the home, all slaves are to stop what they are doing and head to the serving hut at once.  The door will be barred closed by the first girl, senior slave or a Free woman once all slaves are inside.  Slaves may also lock themselves inside of cages as well, but no matter where you are hiding you should pay attention to what is going on in case there are injuries and you will keep all slave talk in PM until a ranking Member of the OutPost declares it is safe to come out.  If there are no Free Members inside the OutPost or the first girl is not present, you should copy and past the trouble to the message boards.

  27. No capture attempt will be considered valid if there are no Free Men of the OutPost inside the home at the time to be able to defend such attempt.  Should someone come in with the purpose of trying to capture when there are no Free Men of the home present, then script it and make sure to send it to the Commander, ignore the attempt and X out of the room.

  28. Any attempts at suicide by a slave will not be tolerated here.  It will be considered invalid and only get the slave punished strictly.  The slave will be caged, either by any Free present or by the first girl, until the Commander or the slave's personal Owner can deal with the slave.

  29. Slaves do have feelings, but any "thought" posts that are meant in a negative manner will get a slave punished, if not killed.  Slaves will not twist roleplay around with "thoughts" that express negative feelings, hostility or any sort of disrespect toward any Free.  Slaves will not pout and whine, nor will they try to draw attention to themselves with "stunts" because negativity is not rewarded here.  It is a complete dishonor to the collar that a Free has allowed the slave to wear.  If any slave feels the need to post such, then it will be dealt with immediately and usely harshly.  It would be wise to always remember rule 4.

  30. If a visiting Free comes into the OutPost and says that the Commander, another Free Member or a slave of the home is in trouble in another home and that they are in need of help:  a slave will NOT go.  You are a slave and cannot help if there is trouble or a fight, and it could very well be a trap just to lure a slave away from the OutPost.  Simply stay in the OutPost and contact another Free or the first girl via msn, if they are online.  If no one else is around, script and post to the message board.

  31. Any Free many punish slaves, within reason and not to mark another Free's property, for being displeasing or disobedient.  Save the script of the punishment and send it to the Commander or your personal Owner and He/She will deal with it, plus you may find yourself being punished again by your Owner.

  32. The first girl is a slave first and foremost, but she is also responsible for watching over the slaves.  That means the actions of all other slaves reflect upon her, as well as yourself.  Any slave that feels the need to disrupt or disobey, then the fg does have the rights to punish, which could include but is not limited to:  caging, switching, gagging and binding, the slave goad and training restrictions.

  33. Any and all problems, comments or questions concerning other slaves or the Free will be brought to the first girl, then if required she would take the matter to the Commander or other higher authority.  If the first girl is not available at the time, the slave can leave word with a trainer who will then in turn inform the fg.  It is the fg/trainer's job to help all within the OutPost in any way possible, no matter how large or small the issue.  It is not pleasing for slaves to cry, moan or fuss to the Free since there is a proper chain of command and since slaves should not try to involve the Free with the dealings between slaves when Free have better things to do.

  34. If the first girl or trainer gives another slave a lesson to complete for training, then it will be obeyed as the fg is only there to help teach and advance you, she will be listened to by other slaves and she will punish accordinly if not.  The slave in training that shows a lack of care for his/her home in this manner will also be brought to the Commander's/personal Owner's attention for failure to live up to the slave's potential. 

  35.  An important note to all slaves:  do NOT pester the first girl or trainer about testing for the different levels.  Please be patient since it is already known who needs what testing and when, because it highly depends on the constant evaluation of each slave's chores, serves and behavior within the home.  If a slave pesters about training then you very well may be made to wait even longer.

  36. Any slave that is under punishment, no matter what the reason or the punishment, is NOT eligible to test until the punishment has been completed.

  37. Most of all, have fun!  Be creative with your roleplay, entertain or serve the Free, work hard or even play a game.  Just enjoy, that is what roleplay is all about.
